I'm trying to hide the value of the edit button in sale.order depending on the data introduced in another field, right now im working on .sh, does anyone know any solution without touching the backend code and just using the developer tools?

You can use Odoo studio, then select the corresponding button, Use the properties option to hide the button with corresponding domain.
