I want all employees in the factory to record their working hours. I thought of putting a laptop there with access to ODOO.
Problem:
However, nearly all of the workers have no company emailadres and you can only log into ODOO with an emailadres.
Solution?
Do you know the solution how I still can work this? (I guess the answer is in the question if they have to log on with an emailadres.)
Hello Ron,
In Odoo it's not necessary to login only with email Id. User can also login from their name.
Ex.:
If you create new user then set login as employee name and set password then it's also valid

I am looking at ODOO12 and I guess this option is in the higher versions?
(We are moving to Odoo15 enterprise but that will be oprational in july)
Yes in any odoo version you can login with name. Email Id is not mandatory.

Could you help me with telling me where that setting is? (logo-on>by name). I can't find it. That would be appreciated.
Its not any setting just create the user with its name instead of email Id.
Just entering the name instead of an emailadress worked indeed.
Unfortunately It still doesn't let the user log hours in worksheet without email adress.
"Unable to log message, please configure the sender's email address."
Am I missing something still?
