hello everyone i am working on integration of odoo with external system the flow is basically is that when ever an event is occur in the external system it will send some field value to odoo it will be prcossed through multiple module in odoo after the final conclusion the data will be sent back to the external system.
actually i want by which method i should implement that like webhooks,
endpoint, custom controller or any other method you suggest.

You can use custom controller with a custom endpoint. Also, in an external system, when an event is occurring, if you are using Python, you can use 'requests' to call the custom controller, or if you are using JS, then you can use 'fetch' for that.
For python:
requests.post (CUSTOM_CONTROLLER_ENDPOINT, Some values in dictionary form)
For JS:
fetch(CUSTOM_CONTROLLER_ENDPOINT + some values in url key-value pair)
