I don't know the answer, but it makes more sense to think that the website builder basic will be part of the community, and that fancy themes and fully working extras will by pay for.

To be fair, the entire New Themes project has gone quite bad in delivery despise the 667% budget achieved. So I'm guessing here that what's already out will not be taken from the public.

Whether it will be maintained or abandoned is another matter all together.

Just my thoughts,

simple answer.  Odoo sees it as a selling point for enterprise.

I think they are just trying to see what they need to get people to pay for the enterprise version.

It's their choice and the community can develop competing features and give it away for free if they wish.

Why would something like a user interface be proprietary? That doesn't make sense to me. It seems like the User interface is one of the most important aspects of the software, and that it should remain consistent between versions. I would expect to see differences between the two versions in things like features, or even Mobile UI, but never a completely different user experience.

Fabien mentioned in business model presentation yesterday that following features will be only in enterprise edition:

- Mobile Interface
- New Configurable Accounting Reports
- New User Interface

This list is not complete of course...

Fabien was just asked what will be enterprise and what will be community.  There is no final list yet. but he is committing 80% of development to the community version and 20% development to the enterprise features.

Is there any information what is included in Odoo SA V9 proprietary
version and not included in the new Community V9 version? I assume the
filter is ready?

If the big motivation for license change is to enable Partners ( and
Odoo SA) to build and sell proprietary features from App-store. Does
this mean Odoo SA proprietary functionality will be available as pay
Apps in the store for all? i.e. Community version v9 + Odoo proprietary
pay Apps = Odoo SA V9 Enterprise version?

I was looking at Fabians presentation direct from Odoo meeting about the
licence change but I am not sure if I missed this type of information
as I had problem with the youtube.
