Eva Pinter has been an SAP certified logistics and finance consultant for the past few decades. As such, she has been involved in many projects with the largest company in the world, working in Europe, Africa and America.
Having discovered Odoo a few years ago, she now has moved to promoting that software to small and medium entreprises looking for a simple and powerful tool to manage their businesses. Using Odoo in her company, ybo services, she is able to provide data entry and data cleansing services with her team based in Cameroon.

Data migration is often one of the biggest challenges in IT-projects. There are three phases in the data migration. The export, the cleansing and transformation and finally, the import of the data. The cleansing and transformation part is generally the most challenging part of the work. It needs people with a functional knowledge of the business as well as technical ability to understand the requirements of the newly built system.
For my customer, the challenge was even bigger as the data quantity was high and the available internal resources were little.
Using Odoo and especially odoo studio, we were able to not only outsource part of the work without the threat of viruses, but also follow daily the work of each involved employee, the changes done on the data, and manage a workflow for data checking.

We will present a few applications in Odoo that helped us achieve this goal.
