MMCI Holdings' rich heritage began as a retailer of health science books in St. Louis, Missouri in 1889. Over the past century, the company has diversified into four distinct affiliated companies: Matthews Medical and Scientific Books, Inc, a retail company that operates health science bookstores; Matthews Book Company, a wholesale distributor of medical information; McCoy Health Science Supply, a distributor of medical equipment and supplies; and International Wholesale Supply, a wholesale distributor of clothing, souvenirs, accessories, consumables and novelty items to the convenience store market.

Sodexis has been helping MMCI Holdings with its ERP needs since 2006. In fact, MMCI Holdings was the first customer of Sodexis. After going to Odoo Connect in 2019 and reviewing the scope of functionalities covered by Odoo, MMCI Holdings decided to move all of its affiliates to the Odoo platform.

A document preferences module that sends documents to the customers automatically: order confirmation, invoices, and statements;

A module that completely automates inter-companies transactions, including returns/refunds.
