Green Standards is a specialized environmental firm that works with corporations and government organizations to responsibly redistribute surplus office furniture, equipment and supplies. They have so far converted thousands of tons of waste that would otherwise end up in landfills to millions of dollars in charitable donations. When Green Standards was searching for an integrated system to improve its operational efficiency and get a comprehensive report on the impact of its works, Syncoria stepped in and made a lasting difference. To achieve their goals, they needed an all-in-one solution to meet today’s challenges and successfully manage their expected future growth.
Syncoria dug deep into the organization's day-to-day workflow to find operational bottlenecks, critical control points, and positives resulting from their recent success. We have used Odoo’s robust platform to develop a custom workflow to match their unique needs. The apps that we implemented and customized are sales, inventory and website. We leveraged Odoo’s ecommerce and product categories to allow for separate inventory for each project and made a seamless connection between the website and backend activities. In addition, we developed a synchronized system that generates real-time reports based on predefined matrices.
With the implementation of Odoo, the firm can now have an overview of the impact of their works and share real-time insights with stakeholders. The company saw a significant boost in productivity, in inventory traceability and ease of reporting in the first few months after implementing Odoo.
