I have a document file attached in DMS. After two days i edited the file then save.
Can i access both the files in Document Management system?
I know page history is available in DMS. But i want Document History.

Hello,
Odoo is not a DMS for now. It only can attach somme document to all models. But with Odoo you can use the great google doc module and use google drive as DMS and document history system.

This module allows you to integrate google documents to any of your OpenERP record quickly and easily using OAuth 2.0 for Installed Applications, You can configure your google Authorization Code from Settings > Configuration > General Settings by clicking on "Generate Google Authorization Code"
I think it is a great feature for Odoo. I know that "savoir faire linux" work on a generic CMIS connector to deals with this issue / needs. (http://fr.slideshare.net/max3903/integrate-odoo-with)

Unfortunately, no, as far as I can verify. The current version of the DMS appears to lack this feature. I wanted / needed the same thing, and expected as much after working with other (more full featured) DMSes. Ive checked the code, and it's not here yet.
we need this feature too, at least 1. it is possible to release/approve the uploaded document after someone created/uploaded the document by workflow with status 2. it is possible to add link to existing released document
