How can I block all ports apart from the Odoo web port and SSH port on a DEV Server - so email can't be read or sent?

I am taking backups of a production system and I keep having to disable the email servers and the cron jobs.
Is there a way to block the email ports (in fact ALL ports other than 8069 and 22)?

If your server is Ubuntu based, checkout *ufw - Uncomplicated Firewall*

This is what I do:

sudo ufw enable
sudo ufw deny outgoing
sudo ufw deny incoming
sudo ufw allow 22
sudo ufw allow 8069
sudo ufw allow 8072
sudo ufw allow out http
sudo ufw allow out https
