Geoff Petkus is the founder and owner of Bluebird Cloud Consulting, an Odoo Silver partner based out of Malibu, California. Geoff has over 25 years of experience in software design, development, implementation, data analytics, and visualization. You'll hear from many Odoo developers "don't use Studio!" and "we can just write code for that." However, Studio capabilities have gotten quite powerful and reliable. Studio should be an important part of customizing/configuring your DB to meet your business needs. In an examples-laden session we'll cover:
- General guidelines for using Studio for new functionality
- Plan it out (gather business requirements, make some notes or a sketch, impact to existing)
