so i am wondering why the blocked by feature in BoM doesnt work? , for example if i have operation like this
cutting->sewing blocked by( cutting)->packing (blocked by sewing)
then start the packing operation(work order) first it will be started and the system will count the real duration . is it really like that? can someone explain to me , is it becauase i am as administrator ?
and the second thing is , i want to develop the operation that is blocked by another operation cant be start unless the operation is already finished or maybe there is a configuration for this?

It is how Odoo have decided as best pratice. The blocking is only for information. They say if it really blocked, operator will know and do not need to wit for manager if the system is not updated.
In some businesses operations can run in paralell.
Depencies is only used in planning.
what do you mean by dependecies is only used in planning? here i have operation name testing that is blocked by packing
and but i can sstill start the testing

Did you find a solution to really block the dependent work orders, please? I'm in the same situation, informing the operator of the dependency is not enough, the work orders need to be blocked to avoid errors.
