You can shrink the database using cleaning techniques,Odoo have a data cleaning Module. It enables operations to be triggered manually as well as automatically through scheduled actions, and it takes control of data by archiving or eliminating unnecessary duplicates.

Hi, I am interested in the same issue. How can I efficiently safe attachments from odoo to a seperate filestore and keep the option to upload them partially lateron, in case they might be needed again.
I got around 105GB DB-Size with 71GB stored in CRM-Lead attachments (filestore).
