I would like to confirm the default capabilities of the HR / Payroll module in Odoo, specifically without using custom code or development, only standard configuration and settings.
Could you please confirm the following points:
Does the HR / Attendance module allow defining a grace period, so that lateness deductions start after a specific time (e.g. after 09:30 AM) using default settings only?
Is it possible, by default configuration, to calculate overtime only after a defined number of working hours (e.g. overtime starts after 9 working hours)?
Does the system support tiered / progressive lateness penalties, such as:
A deduction after 15 minutes of lateness
A higher deduction after 30 minutes of lateness
Another penalty after longer delays
using standard Payroll rules and configuration only?
Can the system exclude approved leaves and monthly permissions from lateness and working-hours deductions by default (i.e. no deductions when approved Time Off exists)?
Is it possible to disable overtime calculation for specific employees (or employee groups) using standard settings (e.g. contract, structure, or employee configuration) without customization?
Please confirm which of the above are supported out of the box and which require additional customization or development.
