Hello


I'm trying to add recurring payments and I cannot figure it out

There is no option of recurring payments in Accounting

I'm an Admin of Accounting

I have troubleshooted everything


Please advise

Thank you for your responses

I'm referring to **outgoing payments** to vendors, such as, Youtube premium, Netflix, ChatGPT premium, Canva Pro. I'm paying a monthly subscription for these.

In Zoho Books, I can see all my **outgoing subscriptions** in 1 page nicely - how can I see the same thing in Odoo?

Hmm... I think doesn't seem to be a built-in Odoo feature.
You could use tags. Try creating one called "Subscriptions" and add it to each service payment. That way, when you filter by that tag, you'll easily see the total amount.

If you find another solution, we'd love to hear about it!

Can you be more precise in your question?

Do you need to automatically pay a certain amount on a recurring base or do you need to create the same invoice on a recurring basis.

For the amount, if for example, you have a monthly payment, you can post the annual amount, you specify the start and end date and Odoo will create an entry every month automatically.

 If you want to have a monthly payment, then you can create payment term and give the percentage of the total amount as well as the number of days since invoicing. You will have then the complete list of invoice value dates.

🔄 Set Up Recurring Payments in Odoo with Subscriptions 🔄


  1. 📥 Install the Subscriptions Module
    • Go to the "Apps" application.
    • Search for "Subscriptions".
    • Click "Install".
  2. 🛠️ Set Up a Subscription Product
    • Go to the "Subscriptions" app.
    • Click on "Products" and then "Create".
    • Add the recurring prices: Choose frecuency, pricelist, etc.
    • Save the product.
  4. 💳 Create a Sale with the Subscription Product
    • When creating a sale, select the product (service/subscription) you set up.
    • This will automatically charge the customer based on the frequency you configured.

And that’s it! 🎉 Your recurring payments are now set up and automated.
