Over the last few months, Newlogic has integrated ChatGPT into Odoo for enhanced business and operations. This talk showcases the possibilities of combining these great tools together.
In our integration, ChatGPT is accessible from Odoo Discuss by any employee. Not only can employees benefit from the power of ChatGPT directly from Odoo, but they can also ask specific questions about the company as the content of Odoo Knowledge is provided to the AI model. This highly improves onboarding, simplifies HR, and gives employees confidence, as they can ask anything, anytime, and even multiple times.
Following this concept, sharing data from Odoo with ChatGPT can improve different processes or even enable new ones. From project management, where it’s now possible to ask any question about any of the company projects, to sales, manufacturing, HR, and so on.
The chatbot can also act as an agent, providing a new way to interact with Odoo. A user can directly ask the bot to perform tasks in Odoo. For instance, you can ask to apply for a leave on a particular day. No problem; the chatbot will open a pre-filled Time-Off request that will just need to be reviewed and submitted. And this works out of the box in any language.
