Our installation of odoo 10 Community has collapsed. The only backup we have is a postgresql dump.

Can we do a recovery from this file?

If the answer is yes, could someone please tell me what I need to do.

I have a fresh install of odoo Community 10 ready. But we do not know exactly what modules were installed other than inventory...

Any help, really really really appreciated.

Thank you.

You may restore the dump file to the postgres database on the new server. Then you can inspect the database table ir_module_module to find the installed modules.

Hi Ermin,

Wonderful.

I have looked at my old ir_module_module 280 rows and a new ir_module_module for version 10 which has 284 rows.

Is there a module which shows which version of odoo 10 is installed. As it all goes haywire on a read in of the dumpfile., I think I need the version that relates to the data dump.

Or guidance on how to get round this?

Thanks and kind regards,

jB
