Michael is a Functional Consultant for Odoo, based out of Louvain la Neuve. Mainly helping Dutch and German-speaking SMEs implement Odoo applications, he loves customizing Odoo, and finding creative/unique solutions to suit the needs of his clients. 


This talk will discuss the various changes since V14.

In V14, the outlook add-in for CRM was finalized. Since you dont need CRM now, another helpdesk or project works just as well. When you add a contact, Odoo tries to enrich the lead automatically, or you can do it manually. Create opportunities, tasks, and tickets from here - you can even create a contact. You can also add the mail to the chatter. And, for the three apps, it adds the mail in the internal notes. 


But those are just a few of the many new features that will be discussed in this presentation.


The goal of these connectors is to bridge the gap between the inbox and Odoo. In real life, people work from their Outlook, and a lot of information is lost in your inbox. With enriching, you can instantly have more information that allows you to take better action, and thusly, have better meetings.
