This smart class will take place over the course of two days: Tuesday, August 20th and Wednesday, August 21st.

Admission to this smart class includes breakfast, lunch, and drinks during both days.

Workshop Overview: Exploring the Depth of Odoo ORM

Prerequisites:

Prior to the start of the smart class, participants should familiarize themselves with the basics of Odoo Development. Click the following link for a quick refresher: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/17.0/developer/tutorials/getting_started.html

Additionally, participants are expected to come into the smart class with some practical experience working with Python programming, and have a moderate knowledge of Database design concepts.

All participants are required to bring a laptop, with the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox installed on their operating system.

Every development and training exercise that occurs during this smart class will be done using trial Odoo.sh environments. A week before the smart class begins, detailed instructions (with trial codes) will be emailed to participants.

IMPORTANT: The training that takes place during this smart class will not focus on setting up the Odoo development environment locally.

All participants are required to conduct hands-on work during both days of the smart class.

Odoo will provide a trial Odoo.sh instance for each smart class participant, so everyone can work with the exact same environment.
