FAQ: Everything you should know about Odoo Education APAC

The Odoo Education Program allows schools and universities to utilize Odoo in the classroom. Our mission is to bridge the gap between business & management courses and the business world through practical, hands-on learning experiences relevant to a student's education and career path. 1. Is there a special Odoo license for teachers and students?

Yes. To bring learning and real business closer together, Odoo offers educators and students 24 months of unlimited access to Odoo online, where you can build databases with your desired amount of apps and users. 


You can set up your education database and create a sample company to test our Odoo apps  — eCommerce, Inventory, Project, and Accounting, to name a few — through this link. You can create unlimited databases for your different courses and classwork.

Please note that the education database is only for teaching and learning only. If you want to use Odoo for business purposes, talk to our Odoo Expert for more information.  

2. What courses does Odoo adopt?

Our program ties in directly with most business-related courses such as accounting, entrepreneurship, and supply chain management. The program also fits in perfectly with ERP-related classes.

Our certified apps are categorized into 8 major modules, including Inventory & Manufacturing, Website, and Marketing. Using Odoo as a practice tool, students can experience different operation lines in a business. 

3. How do I learn more about  Odoo?

To learn more about Odoo and its features, you can always check out our e-learning platform and documentation. We have online courses and materials dedicated to each app and module. You can also listen to our Planet Odoo Podcast and learn how teachers incorporate Odoo into their curriculum.

What's more, Odoo Education also offers engaging workshops that can be hosted online or at your university/school, fostering practical and hands-on learning. Our workshops cover a variety of topics and concepts, such as digital transformation, eCommerce, CRM & Marketing, Manufacturing, and Accounting.

4. What is Scale Up! Game? 


Scale Up! Game is our flagship offering that enables students to learn and better navigate Odoo. It takes students on a journey of building their own retail business and challenges them to search for Odoo solutions to deploy a manufacturing line, track services, and launch an eCommerce platform via seven different business cases.

5. How’s the program progressing in the APAC region?
