[10.0c] Split Lots Into Different UoM For Product Returns

Hi Community,

I have a scenario where I need to record expiry dates on incoming lots to achieve a FEFO workflow.

I have created different UoM's i've created for packaging quantities for this purpose (eg. 48 Units, 24 Units, etc.). 48 PCS = 48 * Unit

An example workflow might be as follows:

Create a PO for 1 x (48 PCS) and receive the products from that PO and create a single lot for that incoming shipment.

Then I create a DO and ship that entire lot out to a customer. They then report back that a single Unit (1 PCS) is damaged and they need to return it for a refund.

In this scenario is it possible to use the standard Return button function on the DO form so that WH/OUT is being delivered to the customer as a carton (1 x 48 PCS UoM) and then WH/IN for returns is coming back in a single unit out of that lot (1 x Unit UoM)?
