Quentin completed his studies in business management and corporate finance at ICHEC in Brussels. Subsequently, he dedicated 10 years of his career to ENGIE, initially focusing on mergers and acquisitions and later transitioning to the development of renewable energy projects.
In 2021, Quentin ventured into independent work and embarked on a mission to acquire Decatel. Regrettably, after nearly three years, the transaction did not come to fruition. Presently, Quentin is actively involved in the development of fresh projects within the realms of energy and electric mobility.
This presentation will encompass the key stages that led Quentin to opt for Odoo.
To begin with, Quentin will outline the market research he conducted and the rationale behind his selection. He will elucidate the advantages of Odoo at that time (bearing in mind that Odoo has since undergone development), as well as the merits of choosing Odoo. Furthermore, the presentation will delve into the challenges faced by independent individuals when purchasing and comprehending software, with concrete examples.
Subsequently, Quentin will elucidate how he came to the realization that Odoo constituted the optimal tool for any entrepreneur. Factors such as changes in pricing and the recognition that Odoo offered easily deployable applications for various business needs played a pivotal role in convincing Quentin that Odoo is a digital tool adaptable to any business model.
Lastly, he will expound upon how Odoo provided reassurance as he embarked on a new entrepreneurial path. Following unsuccessful negotiations for a company takeover, Quentin found himself contemplating a new entrepreneurial direction. While these changes inevitably brought stress and concern, one thing remained steadfast: Odoo would be his indispensable management tool.
