Friendship Bangladesh is a Social Purpose Organisation (SPO) that addresses social issues and always prioritises the interests of the communities it serves. It began its operations in 2002 and currently has a team of almost 5000 employees.
The people of the northern river areas and southern coastal belt of Bangladesh had little or no access to healthcare, education and other public services and lack opportunities to escape a life of extreme poverty. Friendship has chosen to focus its operations primarily on these remote rural areas for last 20 years of its operation.

Friendship Bangladesh being an NGO, deals with a multitude of operations ranging from fundraising to project management to resource allocation. Hence, they needed An ERP system which can help streamline these operations by integrating various functions like finance, HR, supply chain, and project management into one cohesive system.
Also it is subject to regulatory requirements and donor expectations regarding financial transparency and accountability. Odoo as an ERP system will ensure compliance with these requirements by maintaining accurate records and providing transparency into the organization's finances and operations.
Metamorphosis significantly added value to Friendship Bangladesh through the meticulous implementation of Odoo across two phases. In Phase 1, they orchestrated the setup of the cloud server and Odoo installation, conducted detailed business requirement analysis, and meticulously mapped business processes in Odoo. Their expertise in Odoo configuration consultancy ensured seamless integration of crucial elements like Chart of Accounts and master data. Metamorphosis also facilitated trial runs, user training, and controlled user access, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. Post-implementation, their support during the warranty period was invaluable, particularly in managing donation and purchase requests, payroll approvals, and integration with existing HRMS. Additionally, they developed robust approval mechanisms and generated essential reports, enhancing operational efficiency and financial transparency.
In Phase 2, Metamorphosis continued to elevate Friendship Bangladesh's capabilities by customizing Odoo for performance management, recruitment, training, and development. Their expertise in configuring qualitative indicators and employee activity KPIs empowered Friendship Bangladesh to monitor and enhance employee performance effectively. Moreover, they implemented solutions for employee salary tax calculation, recruitment management, and HR information dashboard, providing comprehensive insights into organizational dynamics. By meticulously addressing stakeholder and volunteer database management and safeguarding implementation reporting, Metamorphosis fortified Friendship Bangladesh's capacity to fulfill its mission with excellence. Additionally, their provision of a diverse range of HR letters tailored to the organization's needs underscored their commitment to enhancing internal communication and HR operations. Overall, Metamorphosis played a crucial role in optimizing Friendship Bangladesh's operations, enabling them to focus more effectively on their core mission of serving communities in need.
