As an Accounting Product Owner, you will collaborate with developers to build amazing features used by millions of people.
Your role will be to transform ideas into specifications, test the developments, and ensure awesome applications are deployed at speed. You will drive the vision, strategy, and road map for Odoo’s accounting modules, ensuring they meet real-world business needs and comply with local and global regulations.

Responsibilities
- Understand full accounting for a country (e.g., Invoicing, Direct Taxes & Indirect Taxes, Payments, Bank Reconciliation, Reporting)
- Own tasks from start to approval, Create clear specifications
- strong visual communication
- Ensure customers' satisfaction
- Ensure alignment with accounting standards, compliance, and regional tax laws
- Balance feature decisions with product vision and simplicity
- Provide product expertise and support internal teams (Sales, Support, Implementation).
Must Have
- Master Degree or IT degree
- Proven experience in accounting finance, ERP implementation, or financial consulting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance
- Good communication skill
- Experience in UX
Nice to Have
- Professional certifications (CA)
- Experience working with multi-currency, multi-company, or localized accounting setups
- Knowledge of digital invoicing, e-invoicing, e-way billing, GST Returns or statutory reports.
