Odoo is most definitely a framework, and a good one. It's best suited to forms & lists DB applications of the sort that you would build with Rails. The combination of Python implementation and good design of the plugin framework makes it flexible and powerful. The documentation is both dense and short on details about many API features, but since it's open source you can search the Odoo code to find examples. In general I've found that it provides a mechanism to do most anything I need to do.

Subject: odoo framework
Hi, all,

I gradually realized that odoo is a framework by itself. Is this true?
Does odoo have all the features of other python framework, such as Django?
Does odoo have a tool for ajax call?
