How to manage employee training ?

We have the following issue : we (small company 20 employees) started using Openerp/Odoo 8 (company wide, started with 7).
However, Openerp seems to miss an HR module that manages “HR Training Needs, Plans and Records”.
20 people, job descriptions and requirements in "Job Positions".
Few training plans per employee (currently not in Openerp).
MAX a few training records per employee per year (records not in Openerp)
Effectiveness of all training needs reviewing, f.e. once a year, so training overviews etc is very much appreciated.
We now plan to log everything in the "Log an internal note field”, but this is rather clumpsy …
We are a medical company, and keeping track of training is a must for us, and it is a pain that Openerp can’t …
Can you recommend anything for us ?
