Through a presentation and demo (Odoo 15 Enterprise), the audience will discover the Vendor Prepayment app's features (available in the Odoo App Store). The demonstration will cover configuration, accounting consequences, and how to use the app to make it easier for your purchasing team to manage vendor prepayments in Odoo.
The module enables your team to create a separate vendor bill for the prepayment that will move the amount paid to an asset account of your choice instead of an expense account. It will adjust the final vendor bill to reflect the prepayment and move the prepayment amount out of the asset account. The module follows the same workflow as the down payment Odoo app on the customer side.
This application increases accounting accuracy and payment traceability.
