Building a new company from scratch is not easy. It can be even more complicated when you design and manufacture tight-tolerance hardware products with stiff quality and traceability constraints.
This talk demonstrates how Odoo was used and was instrumental in building the ERP backbone of an industrial scale-up company that succeeded in getting ISO13485 certified.
Topics will include several of the building blocks required for achieving ISO quality compliance:
- integration of a complete traceability system with a custom-made nomenclature.
- definition of inventory operations, including heavy IQI (Incoming Quality Inspection) and EOL (End of Line) quality operations.
- leverage the "integrated ERP" aspect of Odoo to quickly implement a micromotor Quality Management System.
The talk will be of interest to engineering companies who want to leverage Odoo for their industrial operations and plan to apply for an ISO certification in the future.
