I have noticed that not every Task shows up for users on their phones.

ALL of these things:
The project must be ACTIVE.
The project must be a "favorite" for each USER (this is done via the STAR on the Project and check that is shows up on the "My Favorites" filter for the USER wanting to see it):
ONE (or more) of these things:
The Uses is assigned to the Task.
The User is assigned to another Task inside the same Project.
The User has already completed a timesheet entry for the Task.
The User has already completed a timesheet entry for another Task in the same Project.
The User is the Project Manager for the Project.

Awesome Timesheet application is being discontinued. This decision was
made a few days ago and is motivated by a security issue.
The
application is being unpublished from all stores. Customers who still
have it installed will still be able to see it but may not be able to
synchronize data properly. Our recommendation is to use the Timesheet
app in the Odoo mobile app instead of Awesome Timesheets.

So, it's time to use the Timesheet app, which is much better!
