Record Rule Issue :VOIP | V11 CE

Hello,
I have a third party VOIP module installed. When making calls to a user I am getting user rights error.
Whenever the following record rule is active I am getting this error; but disabling this solves the issue.

Object: Contact
Record Rule:
['|','|','|','|',('company_ids','parent_of',user.company_id.ids),('company_ids','child_of',[user.company_id.id]),('company_id.child_ids','child_of',[user.company_id.id]),('company_id','child_of',[user.company_id.id]),('company_id','=',False)]

Can any one please guide me how to solve this or a way to bypass this record rule for this module.

Thanks in advance.

If removing that record rule solves the access problem, it implies that the contact is in another company and the current user is not authorized to that company. Is that the case?

Disabling that record rule will mean that users can access contacts across companies (including customers and vendors).

Incidentally, the standard multi-company record rule is:

['|','|',

('company_id.child_ids','child_of',[user.company_id.id]),

('company_id','child_of',[user.company_id.id]),

('company_id','=',False)]

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

The thing is; I think this record rule was done as part of a customization done earlier.

Now I dont want to disable this rule so is there any way I can bypass this record rule for the VOIP module.

For example this record rule is valid for all current models but the voip module is excluded.

Thanks

As far as I know, the simplest way to bypass Record Rules is to run the task as superuser, as described here:
