How can I use payment terminal (model ICT 220) with Odoo POS without POS Box?
Have anyone experience?
(I know it is using telium protocol)

Hi Nilmar,

This depends quite a lot on the payment terminal provider honestly. You should reach out to Ingenico to ask for further feedback about this. It looks like they have API options for quite a lot of programming languages as you can see here: https://github.com/Ingenico-ePayments and they even have a Python library at https://github.com/Ingenico-ePayments/connect-sdk-python3
We've done a pretty similar thing for Atos (Worldline) payment terminals. The way we did it was to add an extra button in the POS which then calls a C++ function. From this C++ function we called the third party library from Atos in order to get and set transactions details. After doing so you simply have to get the results, return them to the Odoo and update your Odoo POS widgets in order to render the result.

Although my answer is not entirely answering your question and it is not entirely about Ingenico I don't believe you'll get a better answer from somebody else at this point. At the moment there are very little payment provider connectors in the Odoo POS (actually, I haven't even found one working version publicly).

Yes. I totally agree with you. But I am little confused about why you want to use C++ scripts, instead of rewriting into python? (If you used a C++ package, it is OK) Anyway, Without POS box, connecting with payment terminal is quite headache I think.

For the payment provider we used there was no support for Python libraries and there was only a native c++ option available. But yes, it will add quite some complexity / extra development.

I have sample code to connect web service to .net dll on windows for terminal payment pos but i don't know how to do it for odoo.

Please help to do it!

we did this before by writing windows service and connecting to that service with ajax, (because pos device that we used had a .net dll)

We have provided an integration with the Ingenico payment terminals: Ingenico iCT 250 and Ingenico Lane 5000.
The module is based on the C-TAP protocol which is also used by CCV and Worldline payment terminals.
