When we call internal layout template its column width is symmetrical and seems equal as this Internal Layout .
But with external layout template, somehow it gets unique column spacing between Date and JRNL column, see this External Layout.
Does anyone where I can handle this and make equal in external layout too.

The external layout uses the company style settings and modify the style applied to the reports generated.
Instead, the internal layout don't use the company style and generate by default.
See if you can modify the style of the report company to make the column symmetrical, or you can inherit and modify the template of the report.
Yes I know external layout uses company styles. But do you know where column template reside in external layout?
I would enter in debug mode and search in the technical options for the report you are using and look up which template is using, cause the external layout is used only for the header and footer of the document.
