Hello,
I have multiple websites. How can I assign authorizations to different users or groups for each website?
Best regards.

Hello,
I have multiple websites. How can I assign authorizations to different users or groups for each website?
Best regards.
you can follow these steps:
Create User Groups: Go to "Settings" -> "Users & Companies" -> "Groups" and create separate user groups for each website. For example, create groups like "Website 1 User Group", "Website 2 User Group", etc.
Define Access Rights: Assign specific access rights and permissions to each user group based on the requirements of the respective website. Specify the access rights on individual models, menus, actions, and other relevant areas. For example, you can give read-only access to certain models or restrict access to specific menus.
Assign Users to User Groups: Go to "Settings" -> "Users & Companies" -> "Users" and edit each user's record. Assign the relevant user groups to the users based on their website access needs. Ensure that each user is only assigned to the user group(s) relevant to their website.
Configure Website Settings: For each website, go to "Website" -> "Configuration" -> "Website" and set the appropriate user group(s) in the "Access Rights" field. This field allows you to select the user group(s) that should have access to the website's content, features, and resources.
Here's an example to illustrate how this can be done:
Create two user groups: "Website 1 User Group" and "Website 2 User Group".
Define access rights: Assign read-only access to the "Sales Order" model for "Website 1 User Group" and full access for "Website 2 User Group".
Assign users to user groups: Assign User A to "Website 1 User Group" and User B to "Website 2 User Group".
Configure website settings: In the configuration of Website 1, set "Website 1 User Group" in the "Access Rights" field. In the configuration of Website 2, set "Website 2 User Group" in the "Access Rights" field.
With these settings, User A will have read-only access to sales orders on Website 1, while User B will have full access to sales orders on Website 2.
By following these steps and customizing the access rights and user group assignments for each website, you can assign authorizations to different users or groups for each website in Odoo.
