Hello my client wants me to setup employee attendance system but only on odoo cloud hosting
so they have only tablet and USB barcode scanner, (sadly there's no dedicated PC or laptop)
but i cant figure out with just kiosk mode opened in tablet
when employee uses badge how to listen and send this data via browser to something.odoo.com
version i have is 14.0 but i can switch back to 13 if it requires.

Hi Randell,
Downloading the Odoo App on to the tablet would be good way to open the kiosk mode to mark attendance. Furthermore you can directly scan the barcode using the the tablet's inbuilt camera.
I have tried this on iPhone & iPad and it works well, but not an Android device

Hi, we are also trying to use attendance with ipad or android tablet. The app works but it will always use the backside camera. I can´t flip it to front which would make much more sense for kiosk mode. Did you find a workaround?
