In Odoo 18, you can make one BOM depend on others by using multi-level BOMs (sub-assemblies) instead of a single large BOM. In your case, you can create a separate BOM for the HV-Wiring and then link it to the other assemblies like the Battery Pack, PDU, and Inverter, which eventually form part of the Drive Train. This approach keeps your structure modular and avoids duplicating the HV-Wiring BOM in multiple assemblies.

Odoo supports this setup through its sub-assembly concept, where one manufactured product is used as a component in another. When you plan production, Odoo can generate child manufacturing orders (MOs) for sub-assemblies like HV-Wiring before the higher-level assemblies, ensuring proper sequencing.

However, if you need Odoo to strictly enforce that HV-Wiring must be completed before starting the other assemblies, you may need to adjust routing and work orders or use a custom module to define manufacturing dependencies.
