how can i install or run an Odoo application on Windows 10? and what version of odoo do I need? Thanks.

Hi,

You can install the Odoo in  windows. Odoo version is your choice, as the v10 is latest one you can use it. To know the installation of Odoo in windows. you can check with this link,https://www.odoo.com/documentation/10.0/setup/install.html

thanks. ah by the way, do i will encounter problems on Odoo installed on windows? they say Odoo is much better to use in Linux. and does Odoo work only on windows 7 and 8? does it work on windows 10?

You should have a good reason to use Windows, what flavour ever. The vast majority of Odoo users is using Linux, mostly Ubuntu. Therefore you will get much more support when using Ubuntu. This is said without comparing Windows and Linux, which is another topic not relevant for this forum.
