Importing more than hundred products associated with one image or more (main image + extra product media) may be problematic. In fact, some blocking errors in Odoo might appear, preventing a smooth import. Two reasons:

• the image resolution is too high
• the number of images that you want to import in the meantime is too high (too many requests sent to Google Drive > it blocks the import)

To facilitate it, several steps need first to be fulfilled.

1. Import first the product file with all its necessary information (id, name, weight, cost, price etc.)

2. Separate the product file in batch of 5 products (for instance, if the image resolution is too high) - one CSV page for each batch - 

3. Import up to 6 batches (of 5 products each) with only their main image as column and the related product id

It is highly probable that after importing 6 batches you will have this message displayed: 

Read time out means that you have sent too many requests to Google Drive. You need to wait min. 30-45 minutes before continuing the import of the other batches. 

4. Once the products' main image are all imported, you can start importing again these batches with only the column Extra Media Product (additional images associated with the product) and its related product id.

The message "read time out" is highly likely to be displayed again, but you simply need to wait more or less 30 min. before continuing the import.
