Hii,

We have a completely different Sales Quotation / Order report design than the standard one in Odoo 12. I tried to inherit the standard (External ID sale.report_saleorder_document) with xpath but couldn't achieve required results.

I want to design my own template and to completely replace it with standard one i.e.  sale.report_saleorder_document.

Can someone guide or have done before...

If you want to replace it, you can write your own template and call on print function. If you replace whole template you might be face issue in other module which already inherit sale report template.
