Steps to Remove Default Value in Odoo Studio

    Open Studio:

        Click the "Studio" icon in the top right corner of the screen.

    Select the Field:

        Click on the selection or radio field you want to edit.

    Locate "Default Value":

        In the right-hand properties panel, find the "Default Value" section.

    Remove the Default:

        Clear the value shown.

        If there’s an "x" button, click it to remove the default.

        Or manually delete the text/value.

    Save and Exit:

        Close Studio and refresh the form view.

        The field should now appear without any pre-selected value.

To remove the default value of a Selection or Radio button field in Odoo Studio, follow these steps:

Enter Studio mode (click the wrench/gear icon in the top-right).

Go to the form view where the field is displayed.

Click on the field (the one using the "Selection" or "Radio" widget).

In the right-hand properties panel, scroll down to find the "Default value" section.

If a default value is set, you will see it listed there. Click the "×" (remove) icon next to the default value to clear it.

Save your changes and exit Studio.
