How to debug and understand the execution flow in odoo 17 accounting module

Question

I have been working on Odoo 17 for some time. I am stuck with importing journal entries. I couldn't get it right, and the community edition doesn't provide much insight into the execution flow or the values being processed in the code. I would like to know how to bring the accounting module to localhost or any other means to debug the code.
We have access to EE instance as a part of learning license. Can we get the github source code into localhost to activate the accounting module on the local

Hi,
If you have access to enterprise source code or if you have subscription code to use odoo on premise, then you can get the source code from here:   https://www.odoo.com/page/download [1]
Once you have code, you can set up a local environment and debug the system using the tools like pycharm debugger.
