This button seems to be hard coded.
As a V8 Saas user, I found no way to identify how it works.
This would be helpful to generate such custom EAN OUTSIDE Odoo (excel/openoffice for instance) in order to create this custom code for hundreds of articles?
Does someone having access to the pyton code could paste it as an answer?

Thanks for the link; I don't understand how the transformation is done from the string pasted to the function.
module use a sequence with prefix and suffix and increment number with + 1
