Error message when trying to delete an individual contact

Question

Hi there,
I am getting the following error message when trying to delete an individual contact:

Validation Error
Close
The operation cannot be completed: another model requires the record being deleted. If possible, archive it instead.
Model: Payment Transaction (payment.transaction)
Constraint: payment_transaction_partner_id_fkey

What should I do in order to delete the individual? The individual does not have any orders (which I have cancelled and deleted).

Hi,
This error is encountered due to there is a payment record related to this partner.So you are not able to delete this partner record, instead you can archive it.Or, first you need to delete that related payment record after that try to delete this partner

Hey Support,
Archieve it instead delete it
secondly If you want to delete it then delete the related transaction for the particular contact
Then you can delete that partner
Thirdly
inherit the field and use ondelete='cascade' in field
