Standard functionality - when customer add product in cart - quotation will be created.

When guest user add product in cart eCommerce order will be created in backend, but in our case We get everyday almost more than 50 Quotation created under guest user with no product added into sales order. Please advise the reason?

Hello Ninaad Global,

Here are three steps you can follow to address the issue:

  1. Enforce Sign-in Before Adding to Cart: Configure your settings to require users to sign in before they can add items to the cart. This will reduce the number of guest quotations.
  2. Cleanup Script: Implement a scheduled action to automatically delete or archive quotations with no products and guest users that are older than a certain time period.
  3. Bot Protection: Add CAPTCHA or other anti-bot measures to your website to prevent bots from adding items to the cart.

Following these steps should help resolve the issue.
