Please help if you can assist with the following error

How do I remove the "View Invoice" button from customers emailed invoices.

It provides "Pay Now" Functionality which we do not want or view invoice button present on the customers email which has an unnecessary link.

Accounting ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings ‣ Customer Payments, enable Invoice Online Payment is set to unchecked.

I have followed all the steps in the below "Patch" including updating the installation & ensuring modules are present and installed.

I think it relates to the bottom of the above patch "Once the module is installed, disabling the feature will work as intended and will not ask you to uninstall installed applications or modules"

How do we disable = what? Tip uninstalling any modules provides a crash to the database and error land.
