But in terms of general maintenance, testing, query analysis, schema pictures etc I dropped pgadmin for the builtin Pycharm support. Autocomplete, scripts, saves input, smart auto joins etc, even autocomplete inside a cr.execute in python with preview of results, is really nice. About the only thing I miss from pgAdmin is the graphical explain, but its not like reading that stuff is especially hard. Team it up with Pycharms ability to watch/filter postgres logs in both debug and run sessions in terms of development and troubleshooting to me it far exceeds pgAdmin in this arena.
Following you I gave a chance to PyCharm even if I love yet vim (you know paradigms) it helped me A LOT also and from time to time I use it....
You should share a vide using PyCharm in that way jejeje I could not mek it work.... for me psql -d <enter> is enought but all what you mention should be cool to have it in the arsenal also ;-)
