On the report btw it is showing as destination location that production field of counter part location... Not the finished products one

What a mess

Maybe the best way is to change that logic, but I still don't see it working in my mind idk

Maybe it should be

Line x => Production => Finished product

But if it's still accumulating then I didn't solve anything, going to do some test

On v7 also

If you look at the production or manufacturing order, you see on extra information, there is the stock.picking (or picking list) made for that order, when you produce something on v7 it creates a picking to that finished products location.

On v8 there is no picking, and I can't even configure that, BUT the field is there...

Very confusing actually

After I made the orders, I go to

Warehouse->Quants

And I see this location accumulating raw materials, no matter what...

New->Product (Raw material)

Counter part locations section : Incoming ; Production ; Inventory

These fields don't irk my process on v7.

On v8, I fill these fields because I can't even 'produce' something if I don't specify them on product, 'production' field in this case.

My logic when I create the production or manufacturing order is this:

Line1 (or 2 or 3, whatever) = Raw materials location

That, after the pickings of Raw materials are done (in stock module) to these lines.

Then:

Finished products = Finished products location (not production)

So,

Raw materials location = Line x => Finished products = Finished products location

We're fine here.

BUT on product, these counter part locations, in the case of the 'production' location, have 'virtual locations/ production', by default, I know I can change it, but my problem is that this location whenever is left on default 'virtual location' or changed, keep adding raw materials to whatever location you put there, on v7 this wasn't happening.

So I have this location, whatever it may be, accumulating raw materials from all the productions I've made, and also it adds the finished product on negative numbers...

I don't know if I'm explaining well sorry...

Yeah Yeah, but I don't select 'production' as an output, lol

I think I didn't explain myself

It's a mess reallly... Do you have some idea about this?

Now that I understood what you need, let me explain.

I think you do not understand conceptually such process.

The Location in the product is the Interim location which is used to "disapeer" the raw of materials and take out magically the produced elements, it is conceptually incorrect that you select "production" as output lñocation.

The output location is the one that will be used for "Produced" elements at the end of your manufacturing cycle.

Let's say the process looks like:

Raw Materials Location @ MRP document --> Production Location @ Product master data --> Produced Location @ MRP document.

I recomend you read the functional book [1] on that part this process works almost like since 5.0 was working.
