Re: Odoo localization in UKby
Regards.Hi, Carlos,I have also a customer in UK, and they are using core l10n_uk, plus a module I created for importing OFX statement files for Barclays (https://github.com/OCA/bank-statement-reconcile/tree/7.0/account_statement_ofx_import). Each bank has its own statement format (and a lot even less advanced than our poor N43 spanish format), so you will have to implement this format if there is no other possibility to work with one of the standards already implemented.2014-11-26 12:52 GMT+01:00 Carlos Liébana <firstname.lastname@example.org>:Thanks Alan,For example, don't you need some specific modules for importing bank movements or creating payment/collection orders? We've got the attached document from our customer. Thanks for your time.2014-11-26 12:37 GMT+01:00 Alan Bell <email@example.com>:
Well there isn't much translation to do, the chart of accounts is the main localisation (not localization . . .) and it is fair to say we are less active than the Spanish ecosystem, but Odoo is being used in the UK. Most things that we encounter are problems that are the same for everyone using Odoo, not country specific issues.

We've got a spanish customer expanding to England, and I wonder the status of its localization. Unfortunately we've not found any kind of information regarding of the UK community: no group, no website, no mailing list, no repository with specific modules apart from the official account chart... It seems that our Spanish ecosystem is much more active!
Or am I wrong?
