Re: Import large file in Odooby
I had this problem when I was importing 300,000 records. You've two options:
1. First option, and better one in your case: Divide the 4000 in smaller chunks and import.
2. Use a Tool like "Navicat for Postgres" or "pgAdmin3" to import data using Postgresql.
Hope it helps.

You can also tag stuff on insert easier if you script it.+1The other option is to generate SQL calls to insert the data.-1On Thu, Nov 20, 2014 at 12:23 PM, Mohammad Alhashash <firstname.lastname@example.org> wrote:
You may split the file into smaller batches and import them one after another.
Also, you create a modules that imports all files and watch the process through the log.
