Re: Accounting v9: updated specifications

@Fabien : I could find a old document in French (sorry I do not have time to translate)  where I was defining how to handle most 'complex' tax set up we are used to face in France or Switzerland.

There are only 4 cases :

* For CH : the taxe on import (when customs send you a invoice for the VAT only)
* For FR :
 - Reverse VAT on UE purchases (with the 2 levels option but the double tax set up works fine as well)
 - Eco Tax (nothing special expect that in some case you can have VAT on Eco-taxe)
 - VAT on Diesel (This one is a funny one... but important)

Hope it will help

For Switzerland :
1/ does anyone use "Python" computed taxes for another reason than:
rounding (at 0.05 in Switzerland) or division computation (like in
Bolivia or Brazil)
No, we have developped 2 modules to handle the 0.05 roudings since the python calculation does not go far enough (ex : what happen if your invoice is rounded and you ask for a payment by third ... payments are not rounded !)
So in Switzerland we can live without this feature now.
2/ does anyone have refund Tax accounts that are different from the tax
account of the related invoice? (I mean account.account, not
3/ do you sometimes have for THE SAME invoice, some lines which are with
tax included in price and other lines with tax excluded of the price?
yes (see guewen's answer above)
4/ did you ever needed a tax with two levels? (a tax that has children
and those children also have children)
Not in switzerland

Note : All European Union countries uses reverse VAT entry when purchasing goods from an other EU country. However in Odoo you can either do the settings either way :
* by using the 2 levels features which is complex to set but ease your work when it comes to set the fiscal position (since you map only 1 tax to an other (which contains 2 vat))
* the 'normal' single level set up but you need to map 1 vat to 2 val (VAT and reverse VAT) in your fiscal position.
Today the setting with 2 levels is a nightmare so I tend to think that we could get ride of it (or improve it)

We have use cases where the lines with products are tax excluded of
price and the shipping fees are tax included in price.

This is a common case in Spain also, Ana explained it wrong in her mail.
