Re: New OCA repository to suggestby
Pedro M. Baeza
My suggestion was to avoid too much projects, but it that it's not problem, go ahead!Talking about another projects, we have still pending the creation of a project for POS addons. Sylvain has made a great work in this for v7 and more is coming for v7/v8, and he has to publish them on Launchpad, so it's very interesting to have it also on GitHub.

Regards,My suggestion here only concerns those based on the connector (that for me is a sign of reliability and quality).Hi Pedro,In fact, I wanted in this project all "connector_*" based modules. The idea is to have a place where to find all those modules. In any uses cases, you'll always have to manage the errors, retry and so on when interfacing with another system. The connector perfectly handle this, so I see no point in not using the connector for such a need.
Now, I can understand some work is being made (or even done) without the connector and I'm not against creating another project for them.

I would call it "connector-interfaces".The purpose to this new project would be to host generic connector among various interfaces to collect and updates data in Odoo. As example, I already have 2 candidates modules:* connector_file : Which provide necessary tools and methods to deal with the importation of huge files using the connector (see : https://github.com/camptocamp/connector-file)* connector-odbc : Which provide necessary tools and method to access, load and update data from an ODBC source (not publicly release yet, but this is the purpose of this mail)I can see also in the future other connector among other interfaces : EDI,...Do you agree on such a new project ?Regards,
