Hi John. I have a current client looking for the same thing plus the ability to fill in a generic BOL. They are a 3PL warehouse.

I'm also planning on building a full LTL/FTL integration into OpenERP so I can run quotes and schedule pickups and track shipments. The broker I'm going to integrate with has about 40 carriers. This is not going to be open source so I'm contacting you off the list.

If you have any interest in working together on this let me know. I have a lot of modules around FDA regulations that might be of use to you also.

To be clear what I'm looking for, is an ability to print a full page label, I'm assuming I would use a custom report. This full page label will be placed on the outside of plastic wrap which is wrapped around the product once the pallet is completed/ built.

Ultimately I would like a button next to the "put in pack" button that when selected will print off this full page label with all of the related pallet/product information

slightly off-topic but just a kind reminder that your label must be able to "stick" to the pallets - pallets are heavy-duty, heavily-worked items that are abused to all sorts of outdoor/indoor conditions and harsh transit handling.

The only more viable solution I've seen thus far is embedded RFID in the intentionally-designed plastic pallet - wooden pallets wouldn't work for such situation.

Cheers,
Andy

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a way to generate pallet labels for pallets produced as a result of a manufacturing order. Having the labels print prior to completion is also a goal of mind for this need.

Has anyone ever done this, who can point me in the right direction.
